My brief comments (for what it's worth):

THE PINEAPPLE THIEF - [I have for some time been a huge fan of The Pineapple Thief, perhaps weighed down by the constant comparison to Radiohead. Angst-ridden songs of broken love and pain feature heavily, though the last album "All the Wars" was darker, more hard-edged, I am finding the music verging on the repetitive, not just because it's all starting to sound a bit samey but also because it's also a feature of the band's typical song structure. A bit more variation is what is required next. Onstage Bruce Soord is growing in confidence and it reflects on his increasing interaction with the audience.]
